Before the development of this project, our family had the fantastic opportunity to visit relatives abroad; imagine seventeen of us packed into an airplane to visit friends and family not seen for years in the backcountry of Mexico. It was incredibly humbling. Some Residents still reside in villages with dirt and cobblestone roads and awaken to roosters instead of digital alarm clocks to labor in the sun-beaten fields of a farmer's life.

Witnessing the needs of impoverished communities in our backyard and abroad influenced our thought process and self-reflection on how we could have a positive effect. We are, after all, just a small group of family and friends with an idea and passion for our communities.

When we sat down together and began to lay out this idea, we determined the best course of action was to educate and uplift our communities locally using a familiar medium that anyone could access.

If successful, this would provide us the opportunity to support and give back in various ways locally and internationally.

We're working through the details and will outline them in time on this page and sub-pages. Our La Loteria Crypto community will have a significant say in who and how we take on this task. Stay tuned while we figure out the details.
